Donations are welcome and essential to the Tennessee Lutheran Via de Cristo. 

Would you like to donate to TN Via de Cristo to help offset the costs of a weekend, provide scholarships for a pilgrim or support the general costs of the Secretariat? We so want pilgrimage to be affordable so we charge less for attendance than the actual cost. 

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity which means that you can exclude such a donation from your income on your federal income tax return.

•One almost painless way to contribute is to utilized your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from an IRA. Just ask the plan or your advisor to send your donation directly to the Tennessee Lutheran Via de Cristo (Treasurer, 133 Baypath Dr. Oak Ridge, TN 37830). This is a great way to support our work for the Lord AND be able to avoid paying taxes on this money! This is especially beneficial to you if you don’t itemize deductions. If you do itemize, you cannot also take a charitable deduction for the contribution. Consult your tax advisor for further information.

Checks can be written to Tennessee Lutheran VdC. To donate in honor or in memory of someone, please note this in the “memo” section of the check.
